We have a large family, and the way the house was arranged with 5 bedrooms was absolutely perfect for our needs! We also really enjoyed the fact that the house was close to fast food, groceries, and access to the Disney parks. This was our 4th visit to Disney and we had never taken the chance on staying on a non-Disney property before. I am certainly glad we did. The house was wonderful and gave us so much more "breathing room" than a 2-bed hotel room.  I will recommend your house to anyone I know that is planning a trip to Orlando. (December 2010)

This was the first trip to Disney for one of our families and a return visit for the other. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and being able to make our own meals instead of going out to dinner every night. We had a great time, thank you for opening your home. (December 2010)
We were all gathered to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Had a great time at Disney, beach and pirate show, but all especially enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. Great choice! Loved the pool and the air conditioning to cool down on hot, hot days. House was great to accommodate a crowd. Great to have high chair and playpen to accommodate the little ones. Would definitely recommend to others planning on travelling to Orlando. The Outback just down the road is the best restaurant we came across. Not too pricy but great food. (August/September 2010)

Everybody really enjoyed the house. From the outside the house doesn’t look too big but we were all pleasantly surprised by the space (and the air conditioning) when we walked in. With temps in the 90s-100s all week it was amazing to come home to a cool house and a refreshing pool. The little touches and hints all around the house were so helpful too! Our stay here was wonderful! The house is beautiful. The pool is an added bonus since we have kids who can swim but still need to be watched. It is very relaxing staying in a home rather than a hotel! The guides that you left were a nice touch when we were looking for something else to do. We will recommend to friends and family. We really enjoyed staying in your spacious and lovely home. We loved coming “home” every day to our nice, relaxing pool and plenty of room to stretch out. We came down to Florida for a travel softball tournament. When we booked the house Larry said it was “lucky”, previous Disney softball champions have stayed at the house. He was right! We won the 2010 USSSA Fast Pitch World Series for 14 and under. Go Carolina Fusion! (July/August 2010)

This was a combined family trip and the first trip to Florida for most of us. We randomly searched properties on the internet – decided on Happy’s Hideaway and we are very glad we did. Everything was neat, clean and fun for the whole family. The boys spent a lot of spare time in the pool. The close proximity to Disney, Universal, Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach is a big plus. This has been another great spring vacation in Florida an our 4th visit to Happy’s Hideaway. It is really starting to feel like a home away from home. This is a great location because not only can you visit all the theme parks; it is also only an hour drive to Tampa or Cocoa Beach.  We love the house, the pool and the spa. We had a wonderful Florida vacation and had a great time staying in your beautiful house. It was decorated so nice and all the attention to detail made it feel like home. The amount of space was perfect for 2 families with young kids and they loved the pool and hot tub. Loved the condo and all the nice little touches (hints, nice decorations, quality towels, well equipped kitchen). We loved coming home each day from the parks to a comfortable home and enjoyable swim! The pool and hot tub were a hit for both the parents and the teen girls. We’d love to come back. Your home was beautiful. We were so excited to come home every day from a long day at the parks and have a place to relax and socialize with family. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner by the pool every day. Sure beats 20 inches of snow and below zero temps back in Iowa Your kitchen and bedding facilities provided everything we needed. We walked into the home and everything was so clean and beautiful. The grill was onsite as requested and we really appreciate all the notes on grocery shopping and directions to parks. Cannot say anything bad, the hosue was perfect. Thank you so much for making our family vacation wonderful.  (January/February 2010)

Your home is beautiful. Very clean, spacious, well laid out and gorgeous furnishings. You are so kind to open your home to us at such reasonable rates. The location is great. We have rented four other Orlando area properties and you have been the most helpful (maps, suggestions for stores, etc). This was our second annual Christmas vacation to your home.  Last year was great so we decided to do it again this year except we added the New Years stay this year. As usual the house was wonderful.
